Are you looking to get started in magazine and trade journalism, but not really sure where to begin?
Our publication is crying out for talented and enthusiastic interns to join it, over the summer months.
Don’t worry, lots of experience or knowledge isn’t essential. The right attitude and being able to learn on the job is more important.
If you are aged between 18-25 and you would like the opportunity to work on one of the most respected paving publications in the business, then this is your chance!
We know that you are probably not an expert in asphalt paving, and we don’t expect you to be. But if you have any prior knowledge of the industry in any capacity, this would be a huge advantage.
What we are looking for are talented young people who can learn fast about the asphalt and paving industry and have excellent English and PC skills.
We need interns to undertake roles including web design, advertising and marketing, sub editing and copywriting.
The internships will be for no less than four months, so please make sure that you can commit to this time slot before applying for the position.
In return, we can offer generous expenses, meal allowances and the chance to learn all about working on a thriving industry publication.
You will learn to work as a team and be mentored throughout your internship by experienced industrial professionals.
There is also the opportunity for some of our interns to become presenters and feature on videos for our website.
You will learn new skills, meet new people and become more confident in your abilities. And this will look great on your resume.
